Suzi
Morris is a renowned Vortex Healer and Alexander Technique teacher,
with 30 years of experience of treating people, places,
animals and objects.
Vortex
Healing is a millennia-old method by which beneficial healing
energy is channelled onto targeted problem areas by the practitioner.
It clears away negative atmospheres and “blocks”, and can replace them with a positive, uplifting energy.
Non-invasive,
gentle and therapeutic, the Vortex Healing technique is particularly
beneficial to anxious, distressed and depressed animals, whose behaviour is notably more relaxed after a session with Suzi.
Suzi has worked on horses that have suffered physical injury, including
shoulder injuries and compensation in movement, and on animals that suffer emotional distress,
including depression, fatigue and anxiety, and stress, overwork
or maltreatment.
HOW
TO HAVE A HAPPY HORSE
The healing is particularly beneficial to horses: it helps their breathing and releases
accumulated tension from the pressure of competition, enhancing
their wellbeing so they are less anxious and perform more efficiently.
It is best performed before and after a match or race, so the
horses are ready and relaxed. One of the horses Suzi has successfully
treated is the thoroughbred racehorse “Divine”, which
suffered a fall. The treatment improved the horse’s co-ordination
and balance and calmed it down.
Suzi
has also worked alongside Sally Tottle, the acclaimed Alexander
Technique teacher, who applies the method to riders and horses, improving
their posture and balance.
Vortex
Healing treatments last 30 minutes to an hour and cost from £60
per session per horse, plus Suzi’s travel expenses to and
from London.
